we went to mammoth! 8 of us stayed in this teeny condo which boasted a .25 bath the size of a small utility closet. you could sit on the toilet and wash your hands at the same time!
we had 2 people go tumbling down cornice and another quite steep drop off the top.
we had a broken wrist and some painful butts.
we watched sweeney todd. blech.
but we all had a great time and tasty omelettes!
hooray! finally a little climbing spotlight on this supposed climbing blog. i did manage to not write anything about my first trip ever to bishop; but maybe I'll write about it someday...

i, along with a bunch of space dragons, decorated a dragonboat with lights and a festive banner for the naples christmas boat parade in mid december. whoohoo! the only thing missing from these pictures is the never-ending song (feliz navidad), and the bikini-clad girls who paddled around us on their paddle boards. equipped with beer can holders and all!
scallop carpaccio at sushi murasaki in costa mesa. i should have taken more pictures, but was too busy savoring my first real sushi in over 6 months, maybe a year. my parents spoil me! torched toro, shima aji, uni, squid with ika, amaebi, white eel, needlefish... oh so good. distance does make the heart grow fonder =P
